FCA Automotive Services finance training obtains IMI recognition

FCA Automotive Services celebrates after obtaining IMI accreditation for its own finance training program.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ financial unit became the first captive finance company to receive recognition from the Institute of the Motor Industry.
This award follows the launch of FCAAS ‘new finance and insurance specialist program.
In collaboration with the FCA UK training center, FCAAS has created its own specialist finance and insurance program that goes beyond online training on Specialty Auto Finance (SAF) products, offering a modular curriculum that claims increase knowledge and skills through behavioral training.
Keeley Sherry, Training Manager at FCA Automotive Services Ltd, said: âFrom the initial production and development of the program, we have worked closely with IMI to ensure their collaboration and agreement to provide official accreditation. We are delighted to have worked with IMI to achieve this successfully.
âThe program aims to develop the skills, knowledge and competencies to become an F&I specialist in a highly regulated industry.
âWe challenge delegates to ask themselves: How can I do my job effectively in accordance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations?
âThis program is the first of its kind to be accredited by IMI. It has been designed to complement one of the key principles of the Financial Conduct Authority regulation – Treat Customers Fairly – to ensure that it is at the heart of the business and part of the culture of the business. ‘company.
